Got a call from a potential client the other day that was dealing with Elm Trees that were deteriorating and could not figure out why. Now having dealt with Elm Trees for many years we immediately knew the cause of the issue with certainty. Now, each tree is different so we of course went to examine the tree and diagnosis the problem. We were right. It was Dutch Elm Disease.

This tree disorder has been ravaging Elms in North America for almost 80 years. Millions of trees have been affected. Many urban areas used Elms to line the streets because they naturally do well in urban environments and not many trees are like this.

Many different treatments have been created but over the last 20 years and viable treatment for Dutch Elm Disease has been developed and used successfully for a good while. We have incorporated this methods into our own treatment and maintenance program for Elm trees.

If you think your Elm tree(s) could be suffering from this malady let us know, and we would be happy to come out, diagnose the problem and provide a quote, all at no charge.
