Among the most common calls we get are about dying birch trees. People all over the Bay Area struggle with birch trees in particular. The problem is that birch trees are not native to the Bay Area and because of this have a hard time adapting.
We provide a few services to save dying birch trees and maintain their beauty.
For Dying Birch Trees:
First: We provide a heavy dose of special fertilizer along with an intense feeding for the root system to re-energize the tree where it matters most. While not all birches are able to be saved most can be brought back to life with the proper stimulation of the critical systems which for trees is the roots.
Second: We check to see if there are any diseases that are harming the tree. If we find that the birch trees are being harmed by a disease then we treat that along with the feeding and fertilization.
Third: We provide a plan for the home owner, so that they can maintain the trees so they last as long as possible in an urban environment.
Birch Tree Maintenance:
Not all trees are going to be at a stage that requires immediate care, but for larger birch trees and diseased birch trees we provide regular service so the home owner does not have to worry about the maintenance plan themselves. Quarterly and yearly plans are available.
